XFM Weekly Report #1

I'll be sharing the development status of LIVEN XFM on this blog every week until it is shipped to those who have pre-ordered it.

LIVEN XFMをプレオーダーしてくださった方に出荷が完了するまでの間、開発状況を本ブログにて毎週シェア致します。

 

1. Development status and schedule / 開発状況とスケジュール

In order to improve the quality and NG rate of the LIVEN series, we are in the process of transferring the manufacturing factory from the current factory in Vietnam to the factory in Malaysia, which has acquired ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO13485 certifications, and has a lot of experience in manufacturing electronic devices and is committed to quality control and environmental protection.

As of today, we have completed the transfer of most of the parts and molds to the Malaysian plant, and are in the process of checking the operation of the parts and adjusting the molds.

However, there has been a delay in the arrival of the molds for the silicon buttons used in the LIVEN and PLAY buttons in the LIVEN series due to a worldwide shortage of containers and a significant increase in shipping time caused by the increased volume of distribution.

The silicon button molds were scheduled to arrive at the Malaysian factory in mid-April, but they will arrive at the Malaysian port on the 12th of next week, clear customs on the 19th, and start checking at the factory around May 20th.

As a result, we were planning to ship the LIVEN XFM in late May, but now there will be a delay of about a month, and we expect to be able to start shipping around the week of June 21. I am very sorry to have to report this to those who are looking forward to XFM.

We will continue to ship the second lot around the end of June or the beginning of July as soon as the first lot has been shipped.
The third lot is scheduled to be shipped in July without any change.

LIVENシリーズは品質向上やNGレートの改善のために、製造工場を現在のベトナム工場から電子機器製造の実績が多数あり、ISO9001、ISO14001、ISO13485を取得し品質管理・環境保護に力を入れているマレーシア工場への移管を進めております。
今日現在、大部分の部品・金型はマレーシア工場への移管を完了し、順次、部品のチェックや金型の調整を行っております。

しかし、世界的なコンテナ不足および流通量の増加の影響からくる輸送時間の大幅な増加によりLIVEN、LIVENシリーズでPLAYボタンなどに使用されているシリコンボタン用の金型の到着に遅れが発生しております。金型は４月中旬にマレーシア工場に到着の予定でしたが、来週5/12にマレーシアの港に到着し19日に通関、5/20ごろから工場にてチェックを開始できる見込みです。

そのため、LIVEN XFMに関して、5月下旬の発送を予定しておりましたが、現時点で一カ月程度の遅れが予想され、6月21日の週ごろから出荷できる見込みです。XFMを楽しみにしてくださっている方にこのような報告をしなければならないこと大変申し訳ございません。

第二ロットの方へは、初回ロット出荷が完了次第、引き続き6月末～７月頭頃に出荷予定です。
第三ロットの方へは、今のところ変更なく7月出荷を予定しております。

今後、週に一回、生産状況を本Blog及び、FacebookのLIVENグループにて報告致します。

2.Weekly Report / ウィークリーレポート

We have received some samples of XFM-related parts/materials from the Malaysian factory.

移管先のマレーシア工場からXFM関連のサンプルがいくつか届きましたので紹介いたします。

First, the case. / まずケースです。

It looks pretty good, but we need to make some adjustments to the silk and mold.

なかなか良い出来栄えですが、シルクや金型の調整を少し行います。

This is an individual box. / 個装箱です。

The printing on the box has also been changed since it is now made in Malaysia.

今回の製造からマレーシア産になりますので、個装箱の印刷も変更されております。

 

Overlay sheet. / オーバーレイシートです。

The overlay sheet is used to create sounds using all the parameters of the FM sound source in XFM.
The printing and surface coating were fine.

XFMでFM音源のすべてのパラメータを使用して音作りをする際に使用します。
印刷も表面のコーティングも問題ありませんでした。
